The Finer Details
Transport
A coach from and to Canberra will be available for booking via the online RSVP card (or you can just tell us, of course). Unfortunately we have a limited amount of seats that we are able to reserve so this will be at a first in, best dressed basis :) We will confirm your place as soon as we can once interest has been expressed.
The coach will depart and return to Canberra CBD - Civic Coach Stop West Row. The coach will depart at 3.20pm and arrive directly at Foxlow Farmstay at 4.10pm.
The return coach will depart the reception at 10.45pm and arrive back at the Civic Coach Stop at 11.35pm
Private taxis will be permitted onto the grounds however this will need to be pre-arranged by individual guests themselves.
Ubers are generally not available in the area unfortunately.
Onsite parking will also be available.
Attire
We would love for you to dress up with us. Our wedding dress code is categorised as ‘formal’ however it is important to us that you feel comfortable in your outfit so please make that your priority :)
For masculine attire we recommend a button down shirt, suit pants and tie (if you choose).
For feminine attire we recommend full length gowns, tea-length or midi formal dresses/ skirts. Please do not feel obligated to wear heels.
Please just be mindful that during the earlier part of the day, it will likely be on the warmer side so please do not feel obligated to wear a dinner jacket at anytime.
Outdoor Event
Ideally, the entirety of the wedding (both reception and ceremony) will be outdoors with our reception being held in a marquee. Should the weather be looking unseasonably chilly please bring something to rug up in. Please also remember to wear SPF.
May I bring a guest?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on the envelope of the wedding invitation, Thank you for your understanding. Big events are always a little tricky to manage.
What time do we arrive?
Because the ceremony will be beginning at 4.30pm, please aim to arrive around 4pm and no later than 4.15pm.
Accomodation
All guests are welcome to camp onsite if that is apealing to any brave folks. Bathroom amenities will of course be available but other than that you will need to bring your own camping gear.
Check in time for camping is ideally around 2.30pm to give you enough time to set up before the ceremony begins. Please avoid arriving onsite before 2pm.
Food allergies or sensitivities
If you have a food allergy please be sure to let us know with your RSVP.
Gifts
Your presence is enough of a present for us, but a box for well wishes and cards will be available at the reception.
